Sweater Monday is back ... only this time, the sweater is my skirt!
I got this sweaterskirt (and many other goodies) at Goodwill last Thursday. Before we went bowling, I convinced K to stop in and let me try on basically every skirt on the rack. It paid off! If you really take the time to look, thrifty treasures are always within reach :) The skirt is definitely longer than I usually like, but for some reason I think it really works with the knit. I didn't realize until I looked at these photos that the fabric is vacuumed between my legs, but I guess that's the price you pay for a perfect fit :)
I still don't feel fully ready to take on this week, but I'm going to try to force myself to go to the gym for a free trial this evening. You've got to start somewhere, right? (And now that I've told all of you, I feel like that's some sort of promise to the world and maybe I'll be more likely to follow through...)
I'm kind of obsessed with sweater skirts. Warm, soft, form-fitting? Yes, please! And I adore the warm color palette here.
ReplyDeleteI love this with the stripes and the scarf! That skirt looks so warm!
ReplyDeleteI love the '70s vibe of the skirt!

I was really wanting a sweater skirt earlier this year, but couldn't find a good (cheap) one. I like the length of this one on you and can only imagine the coziness...
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the gym. My flatmate told me today that there's a cheapish one just down the road, which basically means I have no excuses left....
great find, looks so cozy and fun to dress up for the weather!
ReplyDeleteThis I dig.
ReplyDeleteI can do this.
I just need that skirt.
Hmmm...
