in which i like bright colors and a bouffant

Since last week was basically an extension of the holidays for me, I declared yesterday the true start of the new year. I'm already feeling a bit overwhelmed by all of the things I want/need to accomplish each day/week/month of 2012, but hopefully it will all fall into place as I get back into my routine.

I've definitely entered hibernation/survival mode, where all I want to do is hunker down with some leftover Christmas candy (I have wayyyy too much) and be lazy.

Anyway, there is nothing like bright color and a bouffant to bring me out of hibernation mode--for a few hours, at least.

  1. Yesss mustard and teal! My favourite colour combination right now. I love this patterned dress with the belted cardigan. Big hair will bring me out of any bad mood haha

  2. I know what you mean. In fact, I didn't really want the new year to start at all. Definitely didn't want to leave my cozy family home with all the mod-cons like central heating, bah.

  3. Oh man, these colors are so beautiful together! Also, I can definitely relate to wanting to just hibernate and eats lots of candy, what with school starting next week and work starting last week.

  4. This color combo is amazing. I wish I had some Christmas candy left, that stuff didn't stand a chance with me around.

  7. I love the colors in this outfit! Those blue tights are perfect with the yellow cardigan. The dress is super cute too.
I know what you mean about feeling like you have a lot to accomplish, but also just wanting to be cozy and warm inside.
