in which with monday comes the blues

Photobucket

I've been super lazy when it comes to dressing lately. It's cold and dark in the mornings and I am a bum. I had just about the laziest weekend of all time, after my Friday night, which I tried to cram too full (dinner, play, party) and ended up wasting all of my energy for the next couple of days. Anyway, I suppose that I'm back in the game today--not-so-eagerly anticipating all that I have to do this evening, since I put it off all weekend (gym, dishes, groceries, dinner), but up and at 'em all the same.

This week is going to be a busy one. K leaves early on Saturday morning, so we're doing some shopping together on Wednesday evening and having "our" Christmas on Friday night. I am also supposed to bake some cookies for work (I might just make some macaroons so I don't have to worry about using gluten-free flour again...). Ohhhh the holidays...

  1. This blue dress is so wonderful, its the perfect shade. And that scarf is perfect with it, so pretty! That sucks that you wasted all your energy on friday, I hate when I end up doing that. My energy gets sapped pretty easily these days too

  2. I did the same thing, wasted all my energy Saturday and basically stood in bed all day Sunday. I really love that color blue, you look great in this outfit. It sure doesn't look like lazy dressing! : )

  4. A bright blue dress is great for a dark winter morning. I have burnt myself out on a number of Friday nights this way. You wake up on Saturday with all these PLANS then realize it's half past 11 already...

  5. I'm always amazed at your dedication to taking your picture in the morning in the snow, so I say "be lazy!" I've got the same hairstyle going on today... though admittedly somewhat greasier. Have fun with those dishes!

  12. I need to dig my dress like this out of my closet! I forgot all about it! I've never had a macaroon (I KNOW) and have been thinking about making my own. Do you have a good recipe?
